Fonte & Sons Dumpster Rental owns and operates our own fleet
Fonte & Sons Dumpster Rental Baton Rouge owns and operates our own trucks and roll-off containers out of our yard at 2215 King Arthur Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, serving Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the surrounding parishes. We do not connect customers with third-party haulers or independent providers. Every container you rent from us is delivered, serviced, collected and disposed of by our own team.
General information only
The content on fonteandsonsdumpsterrental.com — including our guides, blog articles, size charts, weight estimates and location pages — is published for general informational purposes to help you plan and describe your job accurately when you call. It reflects general industry practice around Baton Rouge and the parishes we serve, but it is not professional advice, and specific pricing, availability and container terms are confirmed directly with you by our team before delivery.
How local government works here
East Baton Rouge Parish runs on a consolidated city-parish government: City of Baton Rouge / Parish of East Baton Rouge is the single office that serves as both the City of Baton Rouge and the Parish of East Baton Rouge at once — not two separate city and parish websites. That's the government for our own home address on 2215 King Arthur Blvd, and for any unincorporated pocket of the parish.
Ten of the eleven communities on our service list, though, are their own separately incorporated city or town with their own municipal government, apart from that parish-wide office: Zachary, Central, Baker, St. George, Denham Springs, Walker, Gonzales, Port Allen, Addis and Plaquemine. St. George, the newest of these, only incorporated in 2019 and is still standing up some of its own municipal services — worth double-checking directly with its own local government if your project falls inside its limits. Prairieville is the one community on our list that is unincorporated, with no separate town hall of its own; it is governed directly by Ascension Parish. Several of the towns we serve also sit in a different parish entirely from our own — Denham Springs and Walker in Livingston Parish, Gonzales and Prairieville in Ascension Parish, Port Allen and Addis in West Baton Rouge Parish, and Plaquemine in Iberville Parish — each with its own separate parish government and its own rules.
Regulations change
Permit requirements, right-of-way rules, disposal fees, recycling programs and storm-related road restrictions are set by governments, not by us, and they change without notice. Anything we say about them is our general understanding at the time of writing. Always confirm current requirements directly with the relevant authority before you rely on it:
- City of Baton Rouge / Parish of East Baton Rouge — the consolidated city-parish government for Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish: permits, right-of-way and solid waste rules for that parish all come from this one office
- Livingston Parish Government — governs Denham Springs and Walker
- Ascension Parish Government — governs Gonzales and unincorporated Prairieville
- West Baton Rouge Parish Government — governs Port Allen and Addis
- Iberville Parish Government — governs Plaquemine
- Louisiana Dept. of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) -- Solid Waste — Louisiana solid waste regulation
- Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) — LADOTD road and right-of-way information
- Louisiana 811 (call 811 before you dig) — call 811 before any digging
Any of the ten separately incorporated cities and towns above may layer its own permit or right-of-way rule on top of its parish's — when in doubt, call that town's own office directly rather than assuming a parish-wide answer covers it.
Estimates are estimates
Container dimensions, capacities, weight allowances, project sizing guidance and any prices or price ranges shown on this site are approximate, general to the industry, and provided to help you describe your job when you call. Actual debris weights vary enormously with moisture, material and age — wet, storm-soaked yard debris in particular. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding quotation. A rate is only binding once it is confirmed directly with you by our team.
Permit and placement responsibility
Unless we specifically agree in writing to secure a permit on your behalf, responsibility for any required placement permit — and for confirming whether one is needed for your address — rests with you, the customer. On private property, no permit is generally required in any of the parishes we serve; placement in a public right-of-way is where a permit most often applies, and which office to contact depends on the specific city, town or parish involved — see the list above.
Not engineering or safety advice
Guidance on driveway loading, demolition, roof work, mold, asbestos and hazardous materials is general in nature. Structural, environmental and safety questions should be referred to a qualified professional — a structural engineer, a licensed abatement contractor, or your local building department as appropriate. See OSHA for workplace safety requirements.
